Jack didn't find her.
Neither did the Doctor.
If they had, she'd probably have recovered faster, but it was for the best that they didn't. Sometimes, she needed to scold herself and pull her own self together, without the benefit of someone offering her comfort. She'd botched the one chance she'd have to see her family again, and it was entirely her fault.
Now she had to make sure she hadn't lost her Doctor, too, when she'd finally found him again.
It was a few hours, perhaps, by the time she found herself standing in the doorway of the Doctor's bedroom. Of what was her bedroom longer than her other's had been. She didn't step inside, but she did speak. "I'm so sorry."
She'd taken to saying that so often now, she almost couldn't remember the days he had.

Date: 2010-04-08 01:33 pm (UTC)The Doctor was always so good at making her believe that.
She bit her lip, offering a small smile. She was hardly unfamiliar with compliments--outright flirtatious ones were practically Jack's only vocabulary--but they were much more difficult to brush off coming from her Doctor. "Y'know its...all that running. Good for somethin', yeah?"

"Oh, Rose."

Leaning down the Doctor ran his tongue across her folds, moaning at the taste of her. How he loved to lick things, and Rose was now at the top of his list.

Date: 2010-04-11 12:52 pm (UTC)Anyway, he had a bit of help, didn't he? Rush of emotions, adrenaline and shock and--she dug her heels into the coverlet she'd never had the name of the fabric for, and made a rather unsuccessful attempt at arching closer. The real question was why she bothered to try processing anything just then. Pretending to be the Doctor could wait.
Just for a bit.

Date: 2010-04-11 11:48 pm (UTC)Like everything about her now, when he reached the goal he seemed so intent and efficient at striving for, it was sudden, violent, and distinctly vocal.
In the haze that followed, she did manage the thought that it was fortunate the TARDIS remained empty today. Donna would have never let her live it down.

Date: 2010-04-12 06:56 am (UTC)There was a trail of kisses between her legs all the way up to her neck as the Doctor crawled back up the bed and to her side. His hand brushed over her skin, down her body until it slipped between her legs. Poor Rose would need to tell him to stop if she wanted him too, the Doctor could keep this up for days, even weeks, and would.

She resisted the fleeting urge to use their proximity to snog him (or really more likely herself) senseless. For now. "You're...makin' it very hard to think."

Date: 2010-04-13 11:19 pm (UTC)"Yeah, but, Doctor..." She bit her lip. It was a bit of a silly question, but Jack had made a good point years back, and it was a question Torchwood and UNIT's files didn't have an answer to. "Are you-are we..."

Date: 2010-04-16 01:26 am (UTC)She slid nails--not manicured any longer, no, now she kept them efficient, nearly non-existent--along his shoulders, and pushed herself up enough to rest her palms against his chest. Two heartbeats, and it's an odd thing to fixate on, but she never realized how much she loved them until they were gone, and never accepted how much she missed them until she'd found him again.
She bit her lip, turning her gaze from her hands up to brown eyes a part of her believed she'd never see again. Even now, she couldn't quite accept that she wouldn't find this another dream. "I missed you."
